Shanae began her career in construction as a safety administrator for the Sydney Metro TSE project. Her passion for health and safety was realised, and has since been on a journey of professional growth at Hutchies.

Shane began her career journey in 2018 as a Safety Administrator the Sydney Metro TSE project. While in the role she achieved her Work Health & Safety Certificate, and quickly progressed to safety coordinator. She relocated to Brisbane and worked on the Cross River Rail project for 2 years. Following this, she made the decision to transition to building industry.
Shanae considers the most significant aspect of her work to be the professional development she has undergone. She reflects on her heightened resilience, strength, and her capacity to surmount challenges and adversities.

HSE Advisors play a pivotal role in the continual improvement of our quality, health and safety, and environmental systems at Hutchies.
HSE Advisors work closely with all of Hutchies' construction and operations teams to oversee, monitor and implement continuous improvements in alignment with business and team requirements, and in compliance with relevant legislation.
